This website is owned and operated by Mezzanine World, a business established in 2017 and based in the Republic of South Africa. We design, engineer and install mezzanine floors, storage platforms, racking and fit-outs for warehouse, industrial, retail and office spaces. Our physical address, and the address at which legal documents may be served, is 100 Boston Road, Merrivale, Howick, 3291, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Changes to these terms.

We may update, suspend or withdraw the website, and we may change these terms, at any time. Where we change these terms, the updated version will be published on this website and will take effect once posted. By continuing to use the website after a change has been published, you accept the updated terms. We recommend that you review these terms from time to time so that you remain aware of any changes. If at any point the terms are not acceptable to you, you should stop using the website.

Nature of this website.

This website is provided for general information and enquiry purposes only. It showcases our mezzanine floors, storage platforms, racking and fit-out services and allows you to contact us. No order, quotation, sale or installation is concluded through this website. Any supply of goods or services by us is governed by a separate written quotation and agreement entered into between you and Mezzanine World, and is not concluded electronically through this website. Because our sales are quotation based and are not concluded online, the cooling off provisions in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act do not apply to them.

Definitions.

In these terms, the website means the Mezzanine World website and all of its pages, content and features. Content means all text, images, project photographs, drawings, specifications, logos, designs, layout and other material made available on the website. We, us and our mean Mezzanine World. You and your mean any person who accesses or uses the website. References to legislation include any amendment or replacement of that legislation from time to time.

Acceptable use.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or any server, computer or database connected to it, introduce any virus, malware or other harmful material, or use any automated means to scrape, harvest or extract data from the website. Consumer Protection Act and quotations.

We aim to use plain and understandable language in these terms and we do not seek to impose any term that is unfair, unreasonable or unjust or that is prohibited under section 48 of, or Regulation 44 to, the Consumer Protection Act. Any contract for the supply of goods or installation services is subject to a separate written quotation and is governed by the Consumer Protection Act where it applies to you.

Electronic communications and notices.

You agree that data messages and electronic signatures have legal effect as recognised by the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Any notice to us must be sent to info@mezzanine.co.za or to 100 Boston Road, Merrivale, Howick, 3291, KwaZulu-Natal. A notice sent by email is deemed received on the day it is sent, provided no delivery failure is received, and a notice delivered to our physical address is deemed received on the date of delivery.

Severability.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

Whole agreement, waiver and cession.

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the website. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not cede or assign any of your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent.

Governing law and jurisdiction.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website.
